Winnie-the-Pooh is one of my all time favourite childhood characters and I don’t think I’ve met a person who doesn’t like this tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff 😀
The Victoria & Albert Museum has put together an exhibition where you can learn about the creative partnership of A.A. Milne, the author, and E.H. Shepard, the illustrator, who both worked together to bring Pooh to life. The exhibition has a number of sketches, letters and photographs including of A.A Milne’s son Christopher Robin. Although a relatively small exhibition, I do think it is worth it, just to see the work that went behind creating this very much loved bear.
So, if you want to re-live your childhood OR introduce Pooh to a new generation of kids, come along and bring the kiddies! But hurry, the exhibition is only on for another week (till 8 April) and tickets are £8.
